Still trying to figure out how to put pictures of my jewelry designs on this blog. But I have been busy...organizing and cleaning my studio after the Christmas rush and creating new designs. I have so many ideas and try to divide my time between the task of organizing and "playing" with my beads and wire. My emphasis this Spring will be on abstract wire wrapped pendants on leather with more texture and earrings featuring Bali and Hill Tribes Silver and mixed metals. These earrings will be easy to "grab and go" when dressing as they will enhance any outfits without having to match colors. Please be patient with me while I learn how to put pictures on this blog. Think Spring!

An Invitation

This is an invitation to visit with me this Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Oktoberfest at the Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, PA. The venue will be on Indian Field and will be open to the public. There will be handcrafts, antique cars, music and, of course, lots of food. The hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

On November 14, I will be participating in the Conrad Weiser High School PTO Craft Show, Robesonia, PA. The show hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. I will be in Hall C and will
have lots of new jewelry designs and as always, my earring charms. (A great idea for stretching
your earring wardrobe).

Please join me and a few of my very talented friends at my 9th Annual Holiday Craft Open House on Sunday, November 22 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In addition to my jewely collection, there will be beautiful quilted wall hangings and table runners by Nettie's Notions.
Carl Ostertag will have his intricate scrollwork wooden ornaments and Paula Reber from
Gettysburg will bring wonderful fabric baskets and quilted purses. Bring your holiday list and spend a relaxing day shopping. Wine, warm spiced cider and munchies will be served. I live at 8 Bower Drive, Arbor Gate Retirement Community, Myerstown, PA. Arbor Gate is located on the West side of Myerstown. Call (717-866-1800) or email (shenry@nbn.net) for directions.

The following weekend finds me at the Chincoteague Elementary School, Chincoteague, VA on November 28. My final show is in Wellsboro, PA for the Dickens of a Christmas, Dec. 5. I will be in the Firehall Annex (nice and warm).

Whew! I will be exhausted but have so many ideas and do enjoy my bead "addiction".

Home At Last

I am home and am trying out my new blog. I am not too computer savvy and so these blogs will be a work in progress. Can't rave enough about how beautiful San Antonio was but most of all how genuine and friendly the people were. I fed my "bead habit" by buying beads in La Villita and in Fredericksburg and am anxious to try out new ideas with those beads. I also must get to work photographing my designs to put on this blog. Got to get to work.

My new blog adventure and new friend

This is my last day in San Antonio, TX. I have made a new friend, Susan Carlin, a painter, and she has started a blog for me. I am very excited to try more blogging when I return home.
